Adaptation Adventure
Join us for a full field day exploring different forest types near you! Students learn practical skills in mapping, using a compass and orienting themselves using topographical features of the area. Participate in collecting, recording and interpreting data about the physical conditions of wet and dry forest ecosystems, and how these factors are connected to the structural and behavioural adaptations of the plants and animals that thrive there.
Cost: $150 per class
Time: Approximately 10am-4pm
$100 bus subsidy available (more info here: Preparing for your excursion)
Can’t make it to the forest? Our educators can support your unit through an incursion.

Time: Approximately 90 minutesÂ
Complimentary loan of the Forest in a Box – Forests: Thriving and Surviving can be provided subject to availability.
